WORLD STUTTERING DAY
Today in our school, together with the students, we talked about a very important day. What? On October 22, we celebrate the World Stuttering Day. This is a good time to talk about not only stuttering but good communication as well. In speech therapy classes in each group, we try to implement the principles of good communication by speaking in turn, not interrupting each other during speech and listening carefully. These principles, well known to us, are worth perpetuating in order to be a good listener. This is of great help to those who stutter while speaking. It is worth following an example from kindergarten children who already know how to be a SPEAKER FOR 6. On this occasion, we also invite you to watch the video in which our students present speech therapy exercises. Various exercises are recommended in the treatment of stuttering, including breathing, phonation and articulation exercises. Of course, everyone can do them. We encourage you to play! Extending the breathing phase or singing songs together – these are simple and useful exercises that we can do every day. We also encourage all parents who are concerned about their children’s speech to read the information on the poster of the Speech Therapy Center. Where to go for help You can find some useful website addresses below. We also encourage you to watch the films – links are provided below. Greetings and we invite you to watch the video!
